WCG editor Steven Schweickert is down in Kansas City getting ready for the game, so he won't be streaming his normal pre-game spot this week. And actually, we've got two WCG writers down there today-- Schweick and fantasy football writer Jeff Berckes. Make sure you're following them on Twitter (Schweick | Berckes) in case they tweet out some cool pics.
With that said, we also heard this morning that Alshon Jeffery will miss his 4th consecutive game this season, still battling that hamstring injury. Hammies take time to heal, but this won't bode well for someone in the final year of their contract.
Also, Eddie Royal missed practice on Friday and is questionable for today-- if he doesn't play, it will be the Martellus Bennett and Marquiss Wilson show. Of course, we've got three running backs that can all make plays, so they will get the load of the offense regardless of Royal's contribution.
And what about Jeremiah Ratliff? He should be on the field for his first game this season-- will he come in and disrupt things in the trenches for Chicago's defense? Not sure if he'll be 100% on that ankle he injured in preseason, but I'd guess not since he missed last week's game altogether.
Anyways, hang out and chat for a while before the game starts, and we'll be back with our Open Threads.
This is your Pre-Party Open Thread... Have fun!
