OSS: Sketch Book - Pernell McPhee

There's this "scribble" artist, named Vince Low, that I've been following for a while now. Love his work. If you don't know about him, you should definitely check out some of his stuff, here.

I've been wanting to emulate his scribbled style (while adding my own flair, of course) for some time. And with my newly found admiration for all things Pernell McPhee, I decided now was the right time. Given that I've only ever done a couple actual sketches in photoshop before, I re-started on this about five times. I was even "done" with it once, and then started over from scratch. Heck, at the time of writing this, I'm wondering if I have time to re-start again and finish before my scheduled time slot in a few hours. Artists are never a happy lot.

Since this isn't really a conversation piece, let's talk about what McPhee has to live up to playing in the great city of Chicago. Drop a note in the comments section about your favorite Bears linebacker (Dick Butkus is really the only correct answer), or maybe give a favorite memory of a past or current Bears linebacker. Chicago really has been fortunate at this position through the years.

Have a creative idea for a Bears-related photoshop and/or illustration? Send me an email and let me know your ideas. If they pass through and get published, you'll get credit in the post.
