Thursday Night Football Open Thread: Colts vs Texans

You had to think that the NFL wasn't planning for a Matt Hasselbeck versus Ryan Mallett battle when they scheduled the Colts and Texans to play this week, but here we are.

As of the time of this writing, the Colts hadn't officially ruled Andrew Luck out, but since Adam Schefter says he won't play, we know Hasselbeck will be the guy.  Luck has a bit of a mystery shoulder injury that will cause him to miss two games in a row now, and you have to think that J.J. Watt will be foaming at the mouth with the backup lining up for the Colts.

So while Ryan Mallett's Woes and Matt Hasselbeck's Nursing Home may not be the ideal match-up, we can always count on quality entertainment by Watt.
