The Chicago Bears are looking for their first win of the season against the NFC this weekend, traveling to St. Louis to play the 4-4 Rams. So far in 2015, the Bears are 3-0 against the AFC, and 0-5 versus the NFC.
Jay Cutler is playing lights-out football, but most of the buzz is surrounding wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, who missed practice Thursday with an injured groin. Hopefully he can suit up on Sunday, as another soft tissue injury that causes him to miss games (or have reduced production) could really taint any leverage he has as his contract expires this season.
Interestingly enough, it is a distinct possibility that the Bears could be without Jeffery and Matt Forte next season, as both of them are free agents in 2016.
