For those Chicago Bears fans that are ready to move on from tight end Martellus Bennett, you'll get a glimpse of life without the Black Unicorn tomorrow night. The Bears have ruled Bennett out for the game against the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving with a rib injury. Also ruled out for the Bears, wide receiver Eddie Royal (knee) and running back Ka'Deem Carey (concussion).
The injury report wasn't all bad news however, running back Matt Forte (knee) is among six Bears listed as questionable (50/50). When asked yesterday about playing the Packers, Forte said "I'm good enough to go."
The other questionable Bears are wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (groin), outside linebacker Pernell McPhee (knee), safety Antrel Rolle (knee), safety Sherrod Martin (neck) and inside linebacker LaRoy Reynolds (knee).
Jeffery has expressed a desire to play in Green Bay, but he may be a game time decision.
McPhee expects to play tomorrow night, but defensive coordinator Vic Fangio believes that Rolle will need another week off. If Rolle is out for a 2nd consecutive week, Chris Prosinski will likely start again at safety.
Since it's Thanksgiving eve, I'll give you a quickie Tweet with the Packers full injury report!
