Chicago Bears inactives versus Packers: Royal, Bennett, Rolle among those out

The Chicago Bears get two of their offensive stars back Thursday night versus the Packers, but it's unclear how much they will play.

Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

Alshon Jeffery has had a difficult time staying healthy this year, missing all of training camp and the preseason with soft tissue injuries in his legs, then knocked out for a month after being injured in Week 1 of the regular season.

Then he came back for four games, only to be knocked out yet again, missing Weeks 10 and 11.

Alshon Jeffery is officially active for the game versus the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving, along with running back Matt Forte who has been nursing a sprained MCL over the last couple of weeks.

Those officially listed as inactive versus the Packers:

WR Eddie Royal
RB Ka'Deem Carey
S Antrel Rolle
CB Jacoby Glenn
G/T Nick Becton
TE Martellus Bennett
DL Will Sutton

Outside linebacker Pernell McPhee is also active, and it's worth noting that DE Ziggy Hood will get some action tonight for the first time this season.
