The Chicago Bears travel to Green Bay on a short week, and the weather at kickoff is trending to be 39 degrees and raining. This could actually play to the Bears favor, limiting the deep passing game of Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense.
Chicago loves the underneath routes already, and Adam Gase has done a great job this year in getting Jay Cutler and the Bears offense into a quick rhythm and getting the ball out of his hands faster than in years past.
The offense will have Alshon Jeffery back on the field, as well as Matt Forte.
Can the Bears grind one out on the road against a division foe? And better yet, can they put a damper on the night where the Packers are honoring Brett Favre and retiring his jersey on national television? Stay tuned...
This is your Bears vs Packers 1st Quarter Open Thread... Have fun!
