The Chicago Bears are currently sitting at 2-5, and last week Antrel Rolle stated that they could easily be sitting at 5-2 instead. This may sound cliche, but to a large degree, he's actually correct.
And tonight against the San Diego Chargers, the Bears are making a case for having only 2 wins-- and making a case for being a 5-win team. We've seen the ugly, and the flashes of potential.
Jay Cutler set an all-time Chicago Bears passing record a series after throwing an ugly pick-6 to the Chargers defense. That in and of itself was very Chicago Bears-ish. In the first quarter, Robbie Gould missed a field goal, which was his first miss of the season. That didn't help either.
Can the Chicago Bears figure out a way to slow down Philip Rivers and the Chargers offense? Stay tuned...
This is your Monday Night Football 3rd Quarter Open Thread... Have fun!
