The Chicago Bears are technically not mathematically eliminated from playoff contention, but it would take them winning out and a meltdown of epic proportions by a few other NFC teams in order to make it work. Before the Vikings- Cardinals game Thursday night, the Bears had approximately a 6% chance of making the playoffs. We'll have a much clearer picture after Sunday.
But the team's focus right now is squarely on the Washington Redskins, who have also faced some significant challenges this season. Kirk Cousins is apparently considered good enough to be considered their franchise quarterback (link HERE for our chat with Hogs Haven), and of course DeSean Jackson makes a nice target to throw to.
So the Bears will have their hands full this coming Sunday, and know what's on the line.
