**SCORE UPDATE**
---------------------
The Washington Redskins drew first blood at Soldier Field on Sunday, taking their opening possession straight down the field and into the end zone on an Alfred Morris TD run. The Bears defense early looked soft, basically getting over-powered by Washington.
For the Bears offense, early mistakes led to stalling-- Jay Cutler was sacked, then a penalty, and the the Bears had to kick it away.
At the end of the day, Chicago's roster has issues on both sides of the football, both from a talent standpoint as well as with depth. But Washington is not without their own challenges, so this should be a pretty even match-up. Of course, the game being played at Soldier Field certainly doesn't hurt.
Can Chicago get things together and make this a football game? Stay tuned...
This is your Bears vs Redskins 2nd Quarter Open Thread... Have fun!
