We mentioned Wednesday morning how much fun this year's Chicago Bears have been to watch, but also noted how many times they failed to close out games that were seemingly in reach. It's been a wild wide this season...

On one hand, it's been noted how well the Bears have created schemes on both sides of the ball to make them competitive despite the obvious short-comings on their roster, but on the other hand, how much blame does the coaching staff deserve when they can't finish at the end?

The Bears aren't mathematically eliminated from playoff contention this season, but they also understand the reality of the situation-- they're not a playoff caliber team this year.
