Sunday Night Football Open Thread: Giants vs. Vikings

The NFC playoff picture got very interesting today when the on-the-cusp-of-elimination Atlanta Falcons (8-7) knocked off the seemingly unstoppable Carolina Panthers. If the Minnesota Vikings (9-5) win tonight over the New York Giants (6-8), then Minnesota is in the playoffs. If they lose, Week 17 will determine the NFC playoff picture.

For perspective, if the Vikings lose to the Giants tonight, then next week they will have to beat the Green Bay Packers OR have the Falcons lose to the New Orleans Saints.

Either way, tonight Chicago Bears get to root against the Minnesota Vikings, which is always fun.

It's also fun to see Odell Beckham, Jr. having to watch this one from home, while he serves his one-game suspension for exemplifying unsportsmanlike conduct last week versus the Carolina Panthers.  That's just one opinion, though. Your mileage may vary.
