Monday Night Football: Bengals versus Broncos

Join us inside as we close out NFL Week 16 with a bang!

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The NFC playoff picture is all but sorted out, but the AFC still has a lot to be done. Tonight is a huge game for both teams-- the Denver Broncos are trying to secure a playoff spot, and the Cincinnati Bengals are trying to secure a first round Bye.

Of course, this will all be contested with two backup quarterbacks as starters Peyton Manning and Andy Dalton are both out with injuries.  A.J. McCarron and Brock Osweiler will take the reins of their respective teams and try to put on a show in front of a primetime, national audience.

Interestingly enough, I saw a tweet a couple weeks back that said something like 'For years, people wondered how the Bengals could win with Andy Dalton at QB... Now they're wondering how they'll win without him."  Funny how sometimes you don't realize the value of someone until there gone...

The key in this match-up will be penalties and turnovers-- whoever plays the cleanest football will likely end up with the win.

Who is your money on tonight?

This is your Monday Night Football Open Thread... Have fun!
