Chicago Bears vs San Francisco 49ers injury report: Marquess Wilson out, Eddie Royal questionable

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

Just when the wide receiver position for the Chicago Bears appears to get a bit healthier with Alshon Jeffery finally not popping up on the injury report, the Bears have ruled Marquess Wilson out with a foot injury. Wilson hurt his foot at Wednesday's practice and he hasn't been able to go since.

Wide out Eddie Royal, who hasn't played or practiced since he hurt his knee on November 1st, is listed as questionable (50% chance he plays) this week. Other 50/50 Bears are safety Antrel Rolle (knee), defensive lineman Bruce Gaston (illness) and tight end Zach Miller (ribs).

Starting tight end Martellus Bennett is listed as probable (75% chance he plays) and he seems to be fully recovered from the rib injury that kept him out of the Packers' game. Other probable Bears are quarterback Jay Cutler (illness), outside linebacker Pernell McPhee (knee), running back Ka'Deem Carey (concussion) and right tackle Kyle Long (neck).

In case you missed it, earlier this week Bears' defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said of McPhee's injury, "He's gotten better in the last week or two. His knee seems to have calmed down."

Cutler missed most of practice today, but it is expected that he, and the other probable Bears, all play on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

Rookie wide out Kevin White, who is still on the PUP list, could technically be activated for the game and when asked about the possibility, head coach John Fox didn't close the door, "Within the rules, those are options."

San Francisco has ruled running back Carlos Hyde and tight end Garrett Celek both out for Sunday's game. Everyone else for the Niners is listed as questionable.
