The Chicago Bears are hot right now, winning five of their last eight games, and the three losses being by 3, 3, and 2 points, respectively. It's week 13 of the 2015 season, and we're still talking about a potential playoff berth-- weird, right?
After seeing Phil Emery turn our roster upside down, and Marc Trestman turn the locker room upside down, Ryan Pace and John Fox have stabilized this football team, and restored credibility to the entire operation. We're still another year or two from being truly powerful, but right now the Chicago Bears are feeling pretty doggone good about where they stand, and rightly so. They can honestly compete with any team in the league, despite a roster that is still rolling on low tire pressure.
And up next: A San Francisco 49ers team that is reeling right now. There front office is a mess, they are dealing with significant injuries, and have lost four of their last five games.
