**SCORE UPDATE**
--------------------
The Chicago Bears were in a position early in the game to establish their dominance and force San Francisco to play from behind, but their first two offensive drives stymied and ended with field goals instead of touchdowns, and a Jay Cutler pick-6 out the 49ers right back in the game.
This is a game that is showing the true meaning of momentum, and how it can change in a single moment, and is also showing how thin the Bears defense truly is.
Vic Fangio's unit started out strong, holding the Niners to three straight punts, but eventually the defense got tired, and the lack of depth was immediately evident.
Can the Bears make some halftime adjustments and get things going in the 2nd half? Stay tuned...
This is your Chicago Bears versus San Francisco 49ers 3rd Quarter Open Thread... Have fun!
