Chicago Bears head coach John Fox on rookie Kevin White: "I think his leg is healed"

Jerry Lai-USA TODAY Sports

Chicago Bears head coach John Fox has a reputation for being as vague as possible with the media, especially when talking about injuries. Remember when Alshon Jeffery was day to day for about a month?

Yeah, good times...

Which is why is latest remarks on rookie wide out Kevin White are so encouraging. At today's weekly press conference Fox said this about the 7th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, "I think his leg is healed."

Fox simply isn't going to let something like this slip out without it being true would he?

Unless he's trying to give opposing teams something to be concerned about.

Fox isn't that sneaky is he?

The PUP listed Kevin White still has time to prove he's ready to be activated, so I wouldn't expect them to add him to the roster this week. He can practice at Halas Hall all this week, work out with the team at Saturday's walk through, work out on the field before Sunday's game against the Redskins, but then the Bears will be forced to decide if he's in football shape on December 15th.

In case you missed it, here are a couple clips from White's pregame work out from yesterday.

Are you guys getting excited to see White suit up in a real Bears game?
