The Chicago Bears had picked up some steam in November, at one point winning three of four games and playing great football along the way. There were serious discussions about how they could make a playoff run, and even thoughts that, if they got hot enough, how they could have potentially been dangerous in the postseason.
Fast-forward to December, and right out of the gate, the Bears got exposed by a reeling San Francisco 49ers team, and were carved up by Blaine Gabbert and an underwhelming Niners offense.
The Bears aren't mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, yet, but they are on the far, far outside looking in. At this point, many fans have already started looking to the 2016 season.
