In a game that was competitive from start to finish, the 2014 season comes to a close with the New England Patriots beating the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 in Super Bowl XLIX.
Both Russell Wilson and Tom Brady led their teams like champions, and both defenses had their shining moments.
But the game came to a close on a Russell Wilson interception with about a minute to play in the game, and Brady and the Patriots got to use their Victory Formation on the final play. BUT WAIT, THERE"S MORE!
In a classless act by both teams, on what should have been the final kneel down, both teams got into a fight, throwing punches and ending in a penalty, with Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin being ejected for instigating the fight.
After is was all sorted out, the Patriots had one more kneel down, and the game was brought to an end.
Congrats, Patriots. You earned it.
