Happy Pi Day, everybody. Hopefully it brings a signing or two today.
There really aren't any new developments to add as we've entered the non-rush period of free agency. After signing Pernell McPhee, Antrel Rolle, and Eddie Royal, the Bears have been largely quiet. They were rumored to be close to signing Mason Foster, with no new developments after that. Ron Parker hasn't made his move yet. And aside from that, there's still a number of players for the Bears to go after that haven't quite had names put to them (well, aside from Parrish Cox, Alan Ball - ILL-INI - and Tramon Williams).
The Vikings made a move to pick up Mike Wallace from the Dolphins, after the Dolphins picked up Kenny Stills from the Saints in their massive fire sale. The Saints also grabbed CJ Spiller for about four years, 18 million. Former Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder is now a Raider.
Chris Conte and Henry Melton reunited with Lovie Smith in Tampa, and Terrence Knighton is in Washington alongside Stephen Paea.
Maybe today brings some free agent surprises on the Bears' side. This is your thread for today's free agency developments, and if anything happens with the Bears, we'll have our analysis of the move.
