The Bears announced the signings of fifteen undrafted players looking for a home in the league, after not hearing their names called on draft day.
A couple of the more notable names are East Carolina quarterback Shane Carden, Alabama tight end Brian Vogler, and Baylor wide receiver Levi Norwood.
The addition of Carden comes after the Bears made it through the draft without adding a quarterback; with three on the roster, he'll be competing with Jimmy Clausen and David Fales for a backup spot.
Vogler has a solid chance to make the squad as well, as there are opportunities to seize a backup spot behind Martellus Bennett.
The complete list is comprised of players we'd somewhat figured would be there since last night; there was some late confusion on long snapper Rick Lovato, but he is included in the signings. The complete list is right here:
LB Jonathan Anderson - TCU
CB Qumain Black - East Central
CB Bryce Callahan - Rice
QB Shane Carden - East Carolina
K Jeremiah Detmer - Toledo
CB Jacoby Glenn - Central Florida
G Chad Hamilton - Coastal Carolina
S Anthony Jefferson - UCLA
T Cameron Jefferson - Arkansas
LS Rick Lovato - Old Dominion
WR Cameron Meredith - Illinois State
WR Levi Norwood - Baylor
DE Olsen Pierre - Miami (FL)
LB John Timu - Washington
TE Brian Vogler - Alabama
Does anybody here excite you? Is there anybody you wish the Bears had gotten?
