With the rich history the Bears have had, especially where defensive players are considered, today's question in WCG's 30 Day Challenge seems to fit right in with today's current team. That being said, it'll be interesting to see which direction you guys go in.
Day 10: If the Bears could take one historical Bear and place them on today's currently-constructed roster, who would you take?
For my money, I'd take #99 Dan Hampton, I'd plant him square on that defensive line, and I'd tell him to go do what he did best - eat offensive linemen alive and be as disruptive as possible. Every play starts in the trenches, and Hampton would instantly give the Bears' young, transitional defense some credibility.
I can see a couple of answers along the lines of Richard Dent, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, William "Refrigerator" Perry, and any of the Bears' collection of position-defining linebackers, and there are definitely some offensive answers such as, oh, some guy named Walter Payton, Gale Sayers, and I'm sure we'll see a few Jim McMahons in there, but go ahead and put your answer in the comments.
