Is Antrel Rolle the most overrated current Chicago Bears player?

CBS Sports' Pete Prisco is picking free agent addition Antrel Rolle as the Chicago Bears most overrated player. Do you agree? And what are you hoping to see from Rolle in the 2015 season?

In the last several days we've published our 'pick your most underratedoverrated player in team history' from our 30 Day Chicago Bears Challenge series. We took a look at CBS Sports' pick for the Bears most underrated current player.

Would you believe it was Jay Cutler?

And yesterday Spongie had CBS Sports' pick for each teams most overrated player in our Bears Den, but we wanted to give the topic a stand alone post for discussion's sake. In case you missed it it the Den, CBS' Senior NFL Columnist, Pete Prisco, named one of the newest Bears as most overrated.

Safety Antrel Rolle: He signed as a free agent after a bad season with the Giants in 2014. Rolle is 32, so age is starting to become a factor. He missed a lot of tackles last season. Even so, he still could be an upgrade in the Bears deep secondary. That's how bad it's been.

It's fair to say Rolle isn't the same player he was at 27, but he may have a little juice left in those legs. He's been healthy, only missing 1 game since 2008, and he's been productive, averaging nearly 90 tackles per year since 2008.

He brings experience, leadership, a Pro Bowl resume and a Super Bowl ring to Chicago. He's probably the right player, at he right time, for this particular team.

As for those missed tackles Pricso mentioned, according to Pro Football Focus, Rolle had 17 of them, which was tied for 8th most among safeties. He'll definitely need to focus on that aspect of his game, but hopefully Chicago's run D isn't a sieve, allowing backs to rumble 10 yards untouched before hitting the secondary.

What are you expecting to see from Rolle in 2015?
