The season starts in September. Training camp starts in July. June is just a weirdly humid sticky garbage month where players get arrested or hurt themselves playing kickball or something else that's really stupid.

This layout makes sense, if it's both quarterbacks in action. This picture makes sense if it's a quarterback and a big-time defensive player.
This layout does not make sense when it's a quarterback and a running back.
