The Chicago Bears will wrap up their second and final week of Training Camp in a couple of days, but first will have the chance to strap it up against a live opponent and see how things fall into place.
Luckily, they get to play at home, and fans attending the game at Soldier Field will get a sneak peek at John Fox's new regime, headlined by Vic Fangio's new 3-4 defense and Ryan pace's new offense.
The starters won't play much, especially the skill positions, but at they will get some reps under their belt. If you need to figure out how to watch/stream the game, click HERE.
Side note: Is anyone else bothered by Pernell McPhee's comments about hopefully getting to hurt someone tonight? I mean, it's one thing to want to play hard, and hoping to get to hit the QB (that's his job afterall), but to seem excited about the potential to hurt someone seems a bit much.
Yes, it's a violent and aggressive game, and maybe he's just trying to build the hype, but still. Not a good look, in my opinion.
Anyways, we'll have our Game Threads go live right around kickoff-- in the meantime, kick back and enjoy the first Pre-Party Open Thread of the 2015 season. Oh, and there is a new prediction widget... Give this a try if you missed it the first time around (give it about 30 seconds to load):
Have fun!
