Luckily, this off-season wasn't as bad as most typically are-- the Chicago Bears had another overhaul of team leadership, which kept us pretty busy/distracted for the last few months.
The Bears have now almost completed Training Camp, which will conclude this weekend, and we will get to see them practicing their new schemes tonight for the first time.
Keep in mind, this is only the preseason. Starters won't play much, skill positions will play even less, and there will be plenty of screw-ups. That's why they have these games.
But if we're lucky, we'll see a few plays that light a fire in the crowd at Soldier Field, and that give us a sneak peek at what's to potentially to come this season. Maybe a few deep bombs by the offense, or turnovers by the defense.
Anyways, we're here and we're live. This is your 1st Half Open Thread... Have fun!
