The Bears are heading to Indianapolis a couple days early to get in some practice with the Colts, something that more and more NFL are doing during the preseason to be able to run live looks at an opponent not wearing the same jersey.

Then things will kick off live in preseason game #2 this coming Saturday at 6:30pm CT.  Let's take a look at the latest headlines:

- While the Bears have practiced against other teams before, the Colts have not. Here is what that will look like in Indianapolis. (LINK)

- Will the Bears look to sign another WR now that rookie Kevin White is out for several weeks (if not the entire season)? (LINK)

- How will White's absence impact the culture and regime that new general manager Ryan Pace was trying to build? (LINK)

- Eddie Royal is now going from supplemental support to critical component of the Bears offense. (LINK)

- If there is any silver lining in the Kevin White situation, it's that Royal and Marquess Wilson have been getting a seemingly unlimited number of reps in Camp, so there will be less ramp-up time. (LINK)

- ICYMI: He may be down near the bottom of the depth chart, but Will Sutton can get down on the Jugs machine. (LINK)

- Some positives and negatives to come out of the Bears training camp. (LINK)

- FEATURED LINK: How did the local media react after being shut out by the team during training camp? It didn't sit well with many, especially when John Fox waited until speaking with nationally-syndicated host Jim Rome to mntion Kevin White's shin splints.  (LINK)

- Steve Rosenbloom is always good for a chuckle, but amid his jabs, he's got a few good points. (LINK)

- Speaking of chuckles... (LINK)

- How is Eddie Goldman doing transitioning to the NFL game? (LINK)

- ILB John Timu is maximizing his opportunities with the Bears, especially considering he was undrafted in the first place. (LINK)
