Earlier this morning Chicago's WSCR 670 AM, otherwise known as The Score, announced their brand new Chicago Bears postgame team. Long time Chicago media personality Hub Arkush will be joined by former Bears' James "Big Cat" Willaims and Olin Kreutz.
Williams played 12 years in Chicago, making 134 starts at right tackle to close out his career. He made one Pro Bowl and was given the Brian Piccolo and Ed Block Courage awards. The 6'7" Big Cat blocked 8 field goals in his career.
Kreutz, a 14 year vet with 13 seasons in Chicago, was a six time Pro Bowler and he received the Brian Piccolo Award five times.
The Arkush, Williams and Kreutz trio are replacing the longtime Score postgame team of Doug Buffore and Ed O'Bradovich. The change was necessitated by the unfortunate passing of Bufone last April.
Doug and OB brought an unmatched passion to the post game show that will never be duplicated, but the duo of Kreutz and Williams were very popular players during their run with the Bears.
The 2 hour postgame show will air after every Bears game starting week 1 on 670 AM, by streaming online at 670thescore.com/listen and also available on the Radio.com app.
"We are extremely excited for Kreutz and Williams to join The Score family," WSCR program director Mitch Rosen said. "With two legendary Bears and one of the most knowledgeable and respected Bears and football experts, the legend of the postgame continues!"
