To start this off, I feel like I need to take this opportunity to point out that I predicted last week that the Bears would win 27-20. I apparently gave the Dolphins far too much credit, because while Chicago scored 27, the Dolphins could only get 10 points. Suckers.
Anyways, it's week two. Leading up this week the Bears and Colts are having some shared practices which allows them to go a little hard, and by the time they play on Saturday, the 22nd, they should be all frothy and ready to hit each other even more.
The starters should see a little more time this week. Cutler will need to use his time to develop some rapport with the back end of the roster, as Jeffery is still out, Kevin White may be out forever, and it's finally time for Illinois State product Cameron Meredith to step up and shine. (Note: Illinois State is my alma mater. Go redbirds!)
On defense, Adrian Amos has leapfrogged Brock Vereen to the #1 spot on the safety depth chart after an inspiring session last week against Miami's backup. Pernell Mcphee got trashed a little bit last week for some poor play, let's see if he rebounds into the hard hitting OLB that we thought he might be when the Bears signed him.
The Colts still have Andrew Luck, so that's going for them, and they have an Andre Johnson now. They're the clear favorites to win the AFC South despite the fact that the last real-game action we saw of their run defense was them getting absolutely slaughtered by the Patriots. There is still the small chance that Watt and Clowney come from Houston and break Luck in half one day, but until then, Colts.
On a broadcast note - was anyone's local affiliate feed of the Bears broadcast choppy last week? Mine was having some framerate issues, as if my local affiliate was streaming the game on a 2008 DSL connection.

Sam. Get it together, man. You've got this time to use to prepare to be on the Fox 7th broadcast team. Those Buccaneers games aren't going to call themselves.
Injury Report: Kevin White won't play. Alshon Jeffery won't play. These are likely the players you're currently most concerned with.
Odds: For those of you with the intestinal fortitude to bet money on preseason games, you should know that the Colts are favored by 4 points to win this game as of this writing. Also, you should know this is a bad idea.
Prediction: Colts, 31-21
Matchup History: The Bears are 19-22 against the Colts all time. One of those stings harder than all the others.
