Chicago Bears vs Indianapolis Colts: 2nd Quarter Open Thread

Join us inside for Bears-Colts updates!

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The Chicago Bears struck first, with a Robbie Gould field goal in the first quarter to give the Bears a 3-0 lead over the Indianapolis Colts.

Jay Cutler and the first string offense move the ball pretty well, and the first team defense caused a Colts punt on their first possession.

Keep in mind, this is preseason and shouldn't be judged with regular season glasses. Coaches will be running plays with a different mentality now than they will in three weeks, so don't freak out if they do something that doesn't make sense now.

New offense, and new defense, with lots of starters currently sidelined... the team you see now will not be the team you see later.
