We've talked about it for weeks, and now we're here. The Chicago Bears are kicking their 2015 season off against long-time division rival Green Bay Packers, and doing in their own house at Soldier Field.
We had a great National Anthem by the man himself, Jim Cornelison, and the new version of the Chicago Bears have taken the field.
We've got two veteran head coaches in John Fox and Mike McCarthy squaring off, and two veteran quarterbacks hoping to out-duel each other. The defenses will be the key, though. If the Packers defense can shut down Jay Cutler and crew, they won't have to do much to pull off a win. But if the Bears defense comes out and surprises Aaron Rodgers, and can keep Green Bay's production low enough, we might have a shot.
How will things shake out? Stay tuned...
