Chicago Bears' starting outside linebacker Pernell McPhee missed practice today with a wrist and knee injury. Yesterday he was limited at practice, but only the wrist injury was reported.

Going from limited to out is an obvious setback for McPhee as the Bears prepare to face an Arizona Cardinals' offense that put up 427 yards last week against the New Orleans Saints.

Bears' head coach John Fox didn't offer up any specifics about the injury when asked, "He just didn't participate."

McPhee isn't the only defender ailing as inside linebacker Jon Bostic (ankle) and cornerback Tracy Porter (hamstring) also sat out practice, and defensive lineman Ego Ferguson (knee) was limited.

Chicago's defense did receive some good news when both outside linebacker Sam Acho and corner/nickleback Sherrick McManis fully participated today. Both were limited at Wednesday's practice.

There was good news on the offensive side of the ball as well, as Thursday marked the 2nd day in a row that wide outs Alshon Jeffery, Eddie Royal and Marquess Wilson practiced in full.
