I've gone on record now for many years stating that 'quarterback wins' should not be a real statistic that holds any value, but at the end of the day, the most important position on the team is the QB, and they will get more attention than any other on the roster.  In case you missed it, Lester had a great look at Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler versus the NFC North, and you can find that article HERE.

However, from a fantasy perspective, we love to look at individual stats, and Jay Cutler is one of those quarterbacks that can really pay off if you start him in the right week.  But you have to be careful with him.

This week, the Chicago Bears return to Soldier Field for a match-up with the Arizona Cardinals, and from a statistical standpoint, this one could be a shootout.  Jay Cutler will battle Carson Palmer for quarterback supremacy, and both have the ability to put up big numbers.

Let's take a look at last week:

- Jay Cutler vs Green Bay Packers

18/ 36, 225 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT | 4 rushes, 31 yds

- Carson Palmer vs New Orleans Saints

19/ 32, 307 yds, 3 TD, 0 INT | 3 rushes, 14 yds

On the defensive side of the ball, the Cardinals had to deal with Drew Brees in Week 1, and gave up 355 yards and 1 touchdown.  They also registered two sacks and four QB hits, and had one interception.

The Bears defense faced Aaron Rodgers, and surprisingly held him to only 189 yards, but did give up three passing touchdowns.  The Bears registered zero sacks, zero QB hits, and zero interceptions.

As the two quarterbacks square off this Sunday, who will have the better game?  Let's do a quick and easy Over/Under:

Jay Cutler O/U

Passing yards: 250 | Passing TD's: 1.5 | Rushing TD's: 0.5

Carson Palmer O/U

Passing yards: 250 | Passing TD's: 1.5 | Rushing TD's: 0.5
