The Chicago Bears spent most of their Training Camp and preseason with a make-shift wide receiving corps, ultimately leading to 1st round pick Kevin White being placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list to start the season. This means that White will miss a minimum of six games, but based on what we know about his injury-- shin splints that led to surgery-- he could miss the entire 2015 season.
The Bears other #1 wide receiver, Alshon Jeffery, also battled injuries for several weeks, but he was able to recover in time for the first regular season game against the Green Bay Packers. However, he sustained a hamstring and calf injury in week 1, and the team was unsure if he would be able to go against the Cardinals this week.
According to Ian Rapoport, Jeffery has now been ruled OUT:
#Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (hamstring, calf) will be out today vs. #AZCardinals, source said. The hope is a return next week to full health.

This is a significant issue for the Bears offense, who will likely trot out Eddie Royal and Marquess Wilson as their starters, with Josh Bellamy and Marc Mariani getting some reps.
Will Jeffery be ready for next week against the Seattle Seahawks? Stay tuned...
