**SCORE UPDATE**
----------------
The Chicago Bears are making the best of their situation, hanging with the Seahawks through one quarter of play. Of course, the offense has been struggling, with false start penalties and punts, but Adam Gase is calling a good game so far: run Matt Forte repeatedly, overload the offensive line with three tight ends and extra blockers, and limit the exposure of Jimmy Clausen.
The Seahawks had a bit of trickery in the first quarter as well.

I don't think the Bears were expecting that one.
Marshawn Lynch did not start the game, and didn't come in for the first two possessions, but finally got on the field at the end of the quarter. He's been nursing a calf injury, and so far only has a couple of carries.
This is your 2nd Quarter Open Thread... Have fun!
