A day after the preseason finale versus the Cleveland Browns-- a game Chicago won handily in front of a home crows at Soldier Field-- the Chicago Bears have started shrinking their roster in order to achieve their 53-man maximum.
A few players that will be cut will end up on the Practice Team. More details on how that works are here: LINK
UPDATES-
Placed on waivers:
- CB Qumain Black
- OLB Kyle Woestmann
- WR Rashad Lawrence
- OG Conor Boffeli
Terminated Contract:
- TE Dante Rosario
- TE Bear Pascoe
- ILB Mason Foster
The Chicago Bears will continue to whittle their rosters down over the next few days, but will also likely be adding some players that other teams have placed on the waiver wire.
We know a few positions are remarkably thin for Chicago-- wide receiver, defensive backs, defensive tackle, tight end-- so keep an eye on potential signees as they are released from their current teams.
Stay tuned, as we will update this list as the Bears continue to make moves...
