First things first, Here's wishing everybody a safe and Happy New Year! May all your dreams come true in 2016!
The Chicago Bears have two key players listed as doubtful (25% chance they play) this week, starting center Hroniss Grasu (knee) and starting wide out Eddie Royal (illness). Grasu was hurt in last weeks game and he hasn't practiced all week. Royal was also held out all week after playing through his illness on Sunday.
The Bears have 10 players listed as questionable (50% chance they play) for Sunday's game against the Lions.
Tight end Zach Miller (toe), running back Matt Forte (back), defensive lineman Jarvis Jenkins (ankle), defensive lineman Mitch Unrein (knee), inside linebacker Shea McClellin (concussion), outside linebacker Willie Young (rib), outside linebacker Pernell McPhee (knee), safety Adrian Amos (shoulder), nickleback Bryce Callahan (quad) and cornerback Tracy Porter (ankle).
Among these ten Bears that are 50/50, I don't see any way Matt Forte doesn't play. This may be his last time to ever play in front of the Chicago fans as a member of the Bears.
The Detroit Lions have one player ruled out, center Travis Swanson (shoulder) and they have one player listed as doubtful, defensive end Jason Jones (neck).
Here are all of Detroit's questionable players, RB Ameer Abdullah (shoulder), S Isa Abdul-Quddus (shoulder), WR Calvin Johnson (ankle), CB Nevin Lawson (shoulder), DT Haloti Ngata (foot) and ex-Bear T Michael Ola (knee).
There is one player listed as probable (75% chance they play) for the Lions, LB Josh Bynes (thumb).
