It's negative degrees in Minneapolis today, which will make for entertaining football for those of us watching on television, and miserable football for those out on the field playing.
The Vikings will enjoy home field advantage in their playoff game today versus the Seahawks, but Seattle is the favorite to get the win on the road.
All eyes will be on the Vikings running game, which will dictate whether they have any offensive success, and in the frigid weather conditions (around -5 degrees at kickoff), will be a major key to this game. But if the Seahawks are able to shut down Minnesota's running game, this one could end up being lopsided when it's all said and done.
Seattle's own rushing game will be interesting to watch, with Marshawn Lynch holding himself out of the game after practicing all week, telling the team is still isn't healthy enough to play. Lynch didn't even travel to Minnesota with the team.
Can the Vikings find success with a young Teddy Bridgewater leading the team, or will the veteran signal-caller Russell Wilson march his team to victory? Stay tuned...
This is your Vikings vs Seahawks Open Thread... Have fun!
