Ben Roethlisberger's shoulder is all messed up, but he's expected to not only start versus the Denver Broncos, but also have the entire playbook available for him to run. This comes a week after the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback had to tell his coaches to not call any down-field passes at the end of their game versus the Cincinnati Bengals.
For the Broncos, Peyton Manning is back, and if you believe what the media is telling us, he's looking as good as ever. Manning was sidelined for a few weeks with a painful foot injury, but many speculated that he was held out as long as he was also due to poor play and the seeming emergence of backup Brock Osweiler.
Of course, the winds in the NFL shift often, and after Osweiler struggled to move the needle, Manning was suddenly healthy enough to play, and is now once again carrying this team on his back.
Today's match-up should be a good one, depending on how well the two starting quarterbacks play.
This is your Broncos vs Steelers Open Thread... Have fun!
