Chicago Bears meet with Miami wide receiver Rashawn Scott at the East-West Shrine Game

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

This Saturday, the 91st East-West Shrine game kicks off at 4pm EST from Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. This is the first of the college all star games this off season and the first time that NFL scouts and coaches can meet up with prospects.

The Chicago Bears have representatives down in Florida for the week of practice, and we have confirmation of the first player the Bears are talking to. Miami wide out Rashawn Scott is 6'2, 205 pounds and he caught 52 balls for 695 yards (13.4 avg) and 5 TDs as a senior in 2015. Scott missed all of 2014 with a shoulder injury.

Right now it's not expected that Scott will be drafted, but a good week of practice capped with a good game Saturday could open some eyes.

The Bears ended the season with three undraftred free agent wide outs on their 53 man roster and they only have 5 WRs under contract for the 2016 season.

What are your thoughts on Rashawn Scott?
