The Chicago Bears announced that they have signed nine players to reserve / futures contracts.

De'Vante Bausby, CB, Pittsburg State - Rookie 6'2 179

Matt Blanchard, QB, Wisconsin-Whitewater - 2nd year 6'3" 225

Cornelius Edison, C, Portland State - Rookie 6'3" 295

Paul Lasike, RB/FB, Brigham Young - Rookie 5'11" 232

Marcus Lucas, WR/TE, Missouri - 1st year 6'4" 235

Danny Mason, LB, Texas A&M-Commerce - Rookie 6'3" 235

Nathan Palmer, WR, Northern Illinois - 3rd year 5'11 198

Gannon Sinclair, TE, Missouri State - Rookie 6'7' 270

Martin Wallace, G, Temple - 2nd year 6'6" 330

All nine of these players ended the season on the Bears practice squad.

To be eligible for a reserve / futures contract you couldn't have ended the season on an active roster, so most of these signings will be of guys that were practice squad players.

Teams can sign as many players to these types of deals as long as they don't exceed the 90 man roster limit by the start of the league year.
