Monday Night Football Open Thread: Bucs at Panthers

Monday Night Football tonight features two NFC South teams trying to find their way... The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on a three game losing streak after starting the season 1-0, and the Carolina Panthers (also 1-3) will be without their starting quarterback Cam Newton (concussion).

Give the home team the nod in this one, but right now, the division-leading Atlanta Falcons likely aren’t concerned with either club right now. The Falcons are in solid shape in the NFC South, currently sitting at 4-1 and on a four game winning streak.

Can backup quarterback Derek Anderson lead his Panthers to a victory, or will Jameis Winston have more support and give the Panthers their third straight loss? Anderson is a capable backup, and moved the offense last week when he was thrust into the game for an injured Newton.
