Thursday Night Football features AFC West division rivals San Diego and Denver facing off. Denver holds the lead all-time (62-49-1), with the last San Diego victory coming in 2013…during a Thursday night game. In that contest, the Chargers were able to get to Peyton Manning and turned a poorly timed interception into some points. Since then, however, Denver has had the better of confrontations between the two teams.
For tonight, the question for the defensing champs is whether or not they can rebound after a loss against Atlanta. On the other side, losing to Denver would mean that the Chargers have not down gone down to a 1-5 record, but they would also have lost to all of their divisional rivals at least once this season.
What do you think? Can the Chargers overcome recent history to beat the Broncos? Will Denver use this as a “get right” game?
