The Chicago Bears had high hopes for their 2016 season, the second that general manager Ryan Pace and head coach John Fox have had together. But the injury bug has bitten repeatedly and depth issues have been exposed... And the Bears are 0-3 to start the regular season.
Chicago returns to Soldier Field for the second time this year, in hopes of notching their first win of the season. The Detroit Lions are coming to town riding high, as they have dominated Chicago in recent years.
Can John Fox, Dowell Loggains, and Vic Fangio put together some sort of gameplan that can be effective for their depleted roster? Or will the Lions roll into Soldier Field and send Bears fans home disappointed again?
One thing we haven’t seen as much as last year, especially on the offensive side of the football, are in-game adjustments to scheme and play-calling. Loggains has big shoes to fill since Adam Gase left for Miami, but his time is running out to win this team over.
This is your Chicago Bears vs Detroit Lions 1st Quarter Open Thread.... Have fun!
