Kyle Long has an arm injury, his return is questionable.#CHIvsGB #TNF
— Chicago Bears (@ChicagoBears) October 21, 2016
The Bears suffered yet another injury on Thursday night. After losing Brian Hoyer early in the second quarter, Pro Bowl Right Guard Kyle Long left the game with an unspecified injury later in the second of the Bears-Packers game.
Widely considered one of the few bright spots of the Bears, and one of the clear faces of the franchise, Long was seen sitting on the sidelines without his helmet. Long isn’t in the locker room, but the Bears obviously cannot like how their injury list is looking. With the sort of bad news that seems to be following the Bears at this point, anyone’s guess could be valid about why Long is on the sidelines.
Long was playing with a torn labrum, so it is possible that he tweaked that injury.
We will update as more information becomes available, but the Bears are not famed for being generous with injury information.
