Good morning everybody. For all the Cubs fans, myself included, not sure there was a better weekend for the Bears to be off today.
And that’s okay, because after the floodgates opened on the Bears on Thursday night to drive them to 1-6 and with a lost season looming, the Bears were probably the last thing on anybody’s mind last night and today.
But that being said, we have a lot to discuss about the Bears - what’s happened these last three weeks, and what’s going forward. Plus, Sam and I haven’t gotten to do this together for three weeks, so we’ve both got a lot on our minds - the loss of Brian Hoyer and the state of Bears’ quarterbacking, the schedule going forward, where the Bears should look to improve, maybe even a change of coaching after the season.
There are several ways you can get your comments in to us:
- Here. This comment thread. Look down. That’s a comment thread. You leave comments there. I think this is how it still works.
- Over on the Twitch channel right over here.
- And over on our Twitters: I’m at @SJS_illini. He’s at @SamHouseholder.
And we’ll see you in half an hour when this thing lights up down below.
