Chicago Bears 3
Minnesota Vikings 0
The Chicago Bears welcomed Jay Cutler back at quarterback tonight, after getting sidelined with an injured thumb during Week 2 of the 2016 season. Immediately, the Bears offense is more explosive, but with an offensive line comprised of a few backups, he could have some challenges.
Rookie Jordan Howard had a huge run in the 1st quarter, clipping off 69 yards against the Vikings defense, and the Bears got on the board first with a Connor Barth field goal.
The Vikings’ first two offensive possessions ended in punts, with the defense looking stout to start the contest.
Can the Bears pull off the upset at Soldier Field in front of a weary home crowd? Or will Minnesota come alive and do what everyone expected them to do? Stay tuned...
