The Chicago Bears are 2-6 and sitting at the bottom of the NFC North, but things aren’t completely lost for the season... Yet.
The Minnesota Vikings, who started the season 5-0 and seemed well on their way to a divisional championship, have now lost 3 in a row, including a beat-down by the Chicago Bears. Minnesota is spiraling downhill, so it will be interesting to see if they can recover. They play the Washington Redskins today.
Also in the NFC North, the Detroit Lions (5-4) and Green Bay Packers (4-4) are both struggling to find some consistency, so the Bears could, in theory, get hot right now and make a run the second half of the season.
Beating the Vikings in their last game was a good start, and beating the Buccaneers today would be two in a row.
Can Chicago get hot and make a run? Stay tuned...
This is your Bears vs Buccaneers 1st Quarter Open Thread... Have fun!
