For a few weeks, we heard that no matter how well Dallas Cowboys quarterback did in Tony Romo’s absence, once Romo was ready to return from injury, we would once again be the starter. Romo is Jerry Jones and Jason Garrett’s guy.
But things have changed in the last few weeks... Not with Prescott’s play, but with the Cowboys stance on things. Prescott continues to play lights out football, and apparently he will continue to be the starter as long as he is playing well, even if Romo is ready to return from injury.
Granted, this is a good problem to have, because how many teams actually have too many good quarterbacks to choose from these days?
Our second shift action continues, with the following games on the docket:
- Dallas Cowboys vs Pittsburgh Steelers
- Miami Dolphins vs San Diego Chargers
- San Francisco 49ers vs Arizona Cardinals
We will have our Sunday Night Football Open Thread later tonight.
This is your Week 10 Second Shift Open Thread... Have fun!
