The Chicago Bears came back to within one score at the end of the 2nd half, thanks to a 50-yard Hail Mary that was batted into Cameron Meredith’s hands, but saw that quickly disappear in the 3rd quarter.

Jameis Winston made circus plays against a winded Bears defense (winded largely because Chicago’s offense can’t stay on the field more than a couple minutes at a time), and by the end of the third quarter, the Bucs were up three possessions.

Jay Cutler has had an awful game, thanks to at least three factors: 1- Bad decisions, 2- Suspect offensive line play, and 3- Dumb luck.

The Bears are not a good football team, any any thought that they might try to make a run this season has been dismissed.
